
Prof. Christophe Roche Received the ISO TC 37 “Excellent Project Award”!
The TALOS Lab proudly announces that Prof. Christophe Roche, ERA Chair Holder of the TALOS–AI4SSH project and Emeritus Professor at Université Savoie Mont Blanc (France), received the “Excellent Project Award” from the ISO Technical Committee 37 – Language and Terminology.
The award, presented on June 22, 2025, recognizes Prof. Roche’s exceptional leadership and innovative contributions as Project Leader of ISO 1087:2019, the international standard defining core concepts and principles in terminology work and terminology science.
This distinction honors his long-standing contribution to the development of international standards and to the advancement of terminology, ontology, and knowledge representation—fields central to both linguistics and Artificial Intelligence.
