Το Τμήμα Φιλολογίας της Φιλοσοφικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης εγκαινιάζει μια νέα πρωτοβουλία, ανοίγοντας τα μαθήματά του σε εκπαιδευτικούς και στο ευρύ κοινό.
Ανάμεσα στα προσφερόμενα μαθήματα, περιλαμβάνεται και το μάθημα του Σύντομου Προγράμματος TALOS στις Ψηφιακές Ανθρωπιστικές Επιστήμες (ΨΑΕΦ-100 | Introduction to Digital Humanities), που προσφέρει μια εισαγωγή στις βασικές αρχές και εφαρμογές των ΨΑΕ, με έμφαση στις δυνατότητες που ανοίγουν η Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη και οι ψηφιακές τεχνολογίες στις Ανθρωπιστικές και τις Κοινωνικές Επιστήμες.
Το μάθημα διδάσκεται από την Επίκουρη Καθηγήτρια Μαρία Παπαδοπούλου, Διευθύντρια του Εργαστηρίου ΤΑΛΩΣ.

The Department of Philology at the University of Crete, Faculty of Philosophy, launches a new initiative by opening its courses to teachers and the wider public.
Among the courses offered is the TALOS Short Program course in Digital Humanities (ΨΑΕΦ-100 | Introduction to Digital Humanities), which provides an introduction to the main concepts and applications of Digital Humanities, with an emphasis on the ways Artificial Intelligence and digital technologies can enrich the Humanities and Social Sciences.
The course is taught by Assistant Professor Maria Papadopoulou, Director of the TALOS Lab.
