Short programme in Digital Humanities at the University of Crete

General info about the short programme in Digital Humanities

From academic year 2023-2024 a short programme on Digital Humanities will run at the University of Crete. The programme will be open
 to undergraduate students of all UoC Departments in their third semester and above.
It is organized and co-ordinated by the Department of Philology, in the framework of the TALOS project.

Courses on Digital Humanities offered in fall semester 2023:

1. Introduction to AI I: Knowledge Graphs  (Monday, 8.30-11.30 am). Seminar (mandatory)

2. Introduction to Digital Humanities (Tuesday, 8.30-11.30 am) Course (mandatory)
(Instructor: Dr. Maria Papadopoulou), Room 9, Faculty of Philosophy, UoC, and E130, Heraklion Campus.

3. Studying and Teaching Literature in the Digital World (Tuesday 11.30-2.30 pm). Seminar, Room 8, Faculty of Philosophy, UoC, and online.

4. Ιntroduction to Computational Linguistics (Tuesday, 11.30-2.30 pm) Course

5. Mathematical Methods in Linguistics (Tuesday, 2.30-5.30 pm). Seminar
