The Short Program–Diploma in Digital Humanities (DH) is running for its 4th year (academic year 2026–2027), delivered by the Department of Philology of the University of Crete within the framework of the TALOS project. Open to students from all Departments (from the 3rd semester onwards). Submit your Expression of Interest by 20/07/2026.
TALOS Short Program-Diploma in DH: 2026 Spring Semester Launch
The University of Crete’s Short Program–Diploma in Digital Humanities (DH), offered by the Department of Philology within the TALOS project, enters its third year (2025–2026). The Spring Semester begins on 9 February 2026 and is open to students from all Departments (from the 3rd semester onwards). Expression of Interest is due by 22 February 2026, while course declarations run via eduportal from 23 February to 9 March 2026.
Open Courses at the Department of Philology – Featuring the TALOS Short Program in Digital Humanities
The Department of Philology at the University of Crete opens its courses to teachers and the wider public. Among them is the TALOS Short Program course ΨΑΕΦ-100 | Introduction to Digital Humanities, taught by Dr. Maria Papadopoulou, Director of the TALOS Lab, introducing key concepts and applications of AI and Digital Humanities.
Graduation Ceremony: TALOS Digital Humanities Diplomas Awarded at UoC
On July 22nd at 9:30am, during the Dept. of Philology graduation ceremony at the University of Crete, we celebrated the graduation of 7 students from the Short Program-Diploma in Digital Humanities (DH)!
