
TALOS PhD Researcher Fotini Koidaki Presents at the 1st University of Crete Conference of MA and PhD Students in Modern Greek Philology
The TALOS Lab is proud to announce the participation of Fotini Koidaki, PhD Candidate of Research Topic 3 (RT3), at the 1st Conference of MA and PhD Students in Modern Greek Philology, organized by the University of Crete’s Department of Philology, held from October 24 to 26, 2025.
Her presentation, titled “Ανάλυση της Επτανησιακής Πεζογραφίας με Υπολογιστικές Μεθόδους: Μεθοδολογικό Πλαίσιο” [Analysis of Ionian Prose Fiction through Computational Methods: A Methodological Framework], introduced her innovative approach to analyzing 19th-century Ionian prose, combining Computational Literary Studies and Digital Humanities.
Through the development of digital text corpora, named entity recognition, sentiment analysis, and topic modeling, her research explores the geographical, thematic, and stylistic structures of Ionian prose, contributing to the broader dialogue between AI, linguistics, and literary studies.
