2 Day Online Course – “Digital Humanities and Ontologies“ training for students at the University of Jena
ERA Chair Professor Christophe Roche and Dr. Maria Papadopoulou will be giving a 2 day online course on “Digital Humanities and Ontologies” at the University of Jena (Online, 7-8 of December 2023).
This course explores the dynamic intersection of technology, humanities, and social sciences, offering a multidisciplinary perspective that redefines conventional practices and opens new horizons for academic disciplines.
During this course, you’ll be able to apply your acquired knowledge in full-day hands-on sessions using Protégé, the industry-leading ontology editor. Here, you’ll personally craft distinct terminologies and ontologies, further enhancing your expertise in the field of digital humanities.
The two-day workshop was organised by CLARIN (“Common Language Resources and Technology Infrastructure”)/ERIC (“European Research Infrastructure Consortium”) K-center for Ukrainian, opened in October 2023 at the University of Jena (Germany).
