TALOS is organizing the online webinar “Gen AI-assisted scenarios based on the action-oriented approach in language education” on Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 14:30 to 16:30. The session will be presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Evelina Jaleniauskiene, Faculty of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Kaunas University of Technology, Lithuania.
Date: Thursday, March 26, 2026
Time: 14:30–16:30
Venue: Online webinar
Zoom link: https://liedm.zoom.us/j/7677470296
The webinar will introduce participants to the principles of the Action-Oriented Approach and examine how AI can support their implementation in language education. The programme includes three parts: a short review of core principles, a live design lab in breakout groups, and a final session for sharing results. During the design lab, participants will work across 2–3 platforms to build and test AI assistants or agents through three stages: training, validation, and visualization.
The workshop will focus on practical applications. Participants will revisit the principles of action-oriented scenarios, learn how to design custom AI assistants for educational tasks, and explore ways to create visual summaries that support communication and reflection in educational settings.
Dr. Evelina Jaleniauskiene is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities at Kaunas University of Technology in Lithuania. Her research interests include technology-enhanced language teaching, the action-oriented approach, project-based language learning, multimodality, multiliteracies, AI-assisted learning, multimodal GenAI in education, and language education in higher education.
