
TALOS at the CyberSocial Learning Laboratory, University of Illinois!
Last week (April 14-18), Professor Eleni Katsarou, TALOS Board Member, visited the CyberSocial Learning Laboratory, College of Education, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, hosted by Dr. Bill Cope and Dr. Mary Kalantzis. During her visit, Prof. Katsarou presented TALOS’s work, focusing on RT4, which explores the digitalization and datafication of education.
The discussions centered on integrating GenAI in literacy research, with fruitful exchanges between the TALOS team and the lab’s members. This collaboration highlights the shared goal of using AI to enhance educational practices and curriculum analysis.
TALOS, based at the University of Crete, is committed to advancing AI in the humanities and social sciences, and this visit strengthens ties with the University of Illinois’s CyberSocial Learning Laboratory, a leader in AI-driven education research.
