TALOS at the HOU Spring Webinar Series on Digital Humanities: Online Lecture Tomorrow, March 26
Tomorrow, Thursday, March 26, 2026, Melina Tamiolaki, Scientific Coordinator of the TALOS project, and Rafail Giannadakis, Research Assistant at the TALOS Lab, will participate in the 2025-2026 spring seminar series of the Hellenic Open University MA programme “Digital Humanities: methods, tools, practices.” Their talk, “The TALOS Project: Artificial Intelligence for the Social Sciences and the Humanities,” will present the programme’s objectives and the main strands of its research activity.

TALOS is organizing the online webinar “Gen AI-assisted scenarios based on the action-oriented approach in language education” on Thursday, March 26, 2026. Presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Evelina Jaleniauskiene of Kaunas University of Technology, the session will explore how AI can support the design and implementation of action-oriented scenarios in language education.
Gaming and Literacy in the Age of AI: Perspectives and New Directions (Virtual)
The TALOS–AI4SSH Lab at the University of Crete announces the virtual event “Gaming and Literacy in the Age of AI: Perspectives and New Directions” (18 March 2026, 18:00–20:00 EET). Open to the public (registration required), the event explores how gaming environments shape meaning-making, identity, and multimodal literacies, and how these processes are being reshaped by artificial intelligence and the growing need for critical AI literacy. Speakers include Dr. Earl Aguilera and Dr. Raúl Alberto Mora, with Dr. Zoi Traga Philippakos serving as discussant.
