Online Talk by Dr. Maria Papadopoulou — TALOS AI4SSH at the Joint Seminar Series (UoC Medical School–IMBB-FORTH–UCRC)
Dr. Maria Papadopoulou, Director of the TALOS Lab, will deliver an online talk in the Joint Seminar Series in Translational and Clinical Medicine (UoC Medical School–IMBB-FORTH–UCRC) on 19 November 2025 (15:00–16:00 EEST), presenting TALOS AI4SSH work on terminology and ontologies, knowledge graphs and FAIR data, NLP for Greek, cultural-heritage applications, and AI literacy in education.

On October 22, 2025, Dr. Maria Papadopoulou, Director of the TALOS Lab (AI4SSH) at the University of Crete, will join two major online events exploring how Artificial Intelligence is reshaping education, work, and culture. At Workforce Innovation 2025 – The Future Starts with You!, she will address the future of academic education in the AI era, while in Smart Attica Talk – AI for Culture: Insights from TALOS, organized by EKT, she will discuss how AI fosters creativity and cultural innovation.

The TALOS Lab proudly announces the upcoming invited lecture of Prof. Christophe Roche, ERA Chair Holder of TALOS-AI4SSH, at Al Wasl University in Dubai on October 23, 2025. Titled “Terminology and Artificial Intelligence” (المصطلحية والذكاء الاصطناعي), the lecture will address how terminology and knowledge representation shape the foundations of intelligent systems, bringing together perspectives from linguistics, ontology, and AI.

On June 12, 2025, at 18:00 (GR time), Dr. Maria Papadopoulou, Director of TALOS AI4SSH, will present the lab’s mission at a special InScience Magazine event.
