The TALOS Lab is delighted to announce that Prof. Christophe Roche, ERA Chair Holder of the TALOS-AI4SSH project and Emeritus Professor at Université Savoie Mont Blanc (France), is invited to deliver a lecture at Al Wasl University, Dubai, on October 23, 2025.
The lecture, titled “Terminology and Artificial Intelligence” (المصطلحية والذكاء الاصطناعي), is organized by the Deanship of Graduate Studies at Al Wasl University. In his talk, Prof. Roche will explore the intersection between linguistics, knowledge representation, and Artificial Intelligence, emphasizing how precise conceptual structures and ontologies form the backbone of intelligent systems.
The event will be moderated by Prof. Mohammed Al-Izawawi from Al Wasl University and streamed live.
