
Dimitris Kotzinos visit at TALOS Lab
On Friday, May 16, 2025, TALOS Lab at the University of Crete is honored to host Professor Dimitris Kotzinos from CY Cergy Paris University. Professor Kotzinos, a distinguished researcher in Computer Science and a member of the ETIS Lab, will present his European projects focusing on Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH).

Dimitris Kotzinos is a Professor of Computer Science at CY Cergy Paris University and a member of the ETIS Lab, where he conducts research at the intersection of data science, web technologies, and artificial intelligence. His work focuses on the semantics of interoperable web data, knowledge graphs, social network analysis, and the ethical dimensions of AI, such as fairness, transparency, and data privacy. With over 70 publications and involvement in numerous European research projects, he brings deep expertise in designing systems that bridge technology and society.
This event is part of TALOS Lab’s commitment to advancing AI for SSH through international collaborations and innovative research initiatives. It provides students, researchers, and the wider academic community a unique opportunity to engage with cutting-edge social sciences, digital humanities, and AI projects.
