2nd Call for Papers: TOTh 2026 – Extended Submission Deadline for the Longest-Running International Conference on Terminology
The 2nd Call for Papers for TOTh 2026 is now open, with an extended submission deadline of 8 February 2026. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the longest-running international conference on Terminology invites contributions on Terminology, Ontology, AI, NLP, and related fields. TOTh 2026 will take place on 4–5 June 2026 at Université Savoie Mont-Blanc (Chambéry, France), with onsite and online participation.

Her presentation introduced a computational framework for studying 19th-century Ionian prose, applying AI-based text analysis and Digital Humanities methods to explore literary patterns and cultural connections.

TALOS PhD Candidate Melissa Bergoffen (RT2) participated in the 2nd MEDITARCH – Ancient World Conference at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, presenting her research on female representations in Bronze Age Aegean wall paintings. Her talk introduced how AI technologies, ontologies, and ontoterminologies can enhance archaeological data management and promote FAIR Principles, highlighting a feminist and interdisciplinary approach that bridges Artificial Intelligence and Archaeology.
Call for Papers: TOTh 2026 – Celebrating 20 Years of Terminology and Ontology Research
The 20th Anniversary Edition of the longest-running international conference on terminology, TOTh 2026, will be held on June 4–5, 2026, at Université Savoie Mont-Blanc. The conference celebrates two decades of research and collaboration in terminology and ontology, inviting submissions on language, knowledge representation, and AI applications by January 11, 2026.

TALOS PhD researcher Fotini Koidaki presented her work “From Page to Pixel: The 19th Century Greek 8.0 OCR Model” at the 17th International Conference on Greek Linguistics (ICGL17), University of Cambridge.
