TALOS ERA Chair Holder gave lectures at three universities in China.

Prof. Christophe Roche, TALOS ERA Chair, was invited to present the TALOS project at three Chinese universities: Liaocheng University (14/9), Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics-NUAA (19/9) and Peking University (21/9). The talks were followed by meetings with students and faculty.

The lectures coincided with a series of lectures in Digital Humanities by Dr. Maria Papadopoulou, TALOS ERA Chair Project Manager and collaborating member of the co-funded by the European Union project “Promoting the Study of Ancient Greek and Chinese Culture” (co-hosted by four Greek universities: Athens, Thessaloniki, Patras, Crete, coordinating university: Patras).

Professor Roche and Dr. Papadopoulou were also invited to give a video-lecture, to be presented on September 28th at the 9th Nishan Forum on World Civilizations at Qufu.

The lectures were sponsored by the University of Savoie, Mont Blanc and the University of Athens respectively and were co-organized by the TALOS ERA Chair project, the Knowledge Engineering and Terminology Research Centre (Computer Science Department, Liaocheng University), the Department of Foreign Languages (NUAA), and the Digital Humanities Centre (Information Science Department, Peking University).
