The TALOS AI4SSH Lab announces a new Erasmus+ KA171 International Mobility collaboration between the University of Crete and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, focusing on a timely and strategic research initiative dedicated to the analysis of educational curricula through advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) methods.
Launch of the Teachers’ Academy for AI Literacy!
The University of Crete launches the Teachers’ Academy for AI Literacy, a three-year European initiative coordinated by the TALOS AI4SSH Lab and funded by ERASMUS+ EDU 2025. The project brings together 14 partners from 7 countries and will train 2,500 primary and secondary school teachers in the pedagogically sound, ethical, and socially responsible use of Artificial Intelligence in education.
TALOS Lab to Coordinate the European Project Teachers’ Academy for AI Literacy
TALOS Lab is proud to take part in the Teachers’ Academy for AI Literacy, a €1.5M Erasmus+ project uniting 14 partners from 7 European countries. The initiative aims to equip teachers with the knowledge and critical skills to engage with AI in education—not only on a technical level but also with attention to ethical, social, and humanistic dimensions. By fostering collaboration and developing innovative training programs, the Academy seeks to ensure that AI is used inclusively and responsibly, bridging digital divides and strengthening the digital transformation of education across Europe.
