
TALOS Participation in Two-Day Seminar for Secondary Education Teachers (Heraklion)
The TALOS Lab proudly announces that Professor Eleni Katsarou, Member of the TALOS Steering Committee and Professor at the Department of Primary Education, University of Crete, and Rafail Giannadakis, Research Assistant at the TALOS–AI4SSH project, were invited to participate in the Two-Day Educational Seminar for Secondary Education Teachers organized by Anna Sfakiannaki, Educational Consultant for Philologists in Heraklion.

The seminar, titled “Modern Teaching Approaches in Philological Courses according to the New Curricula”, brought together educators and researchers to explore innovative and participatory teaching practices that promote guided, collaborative, and experiential learning in secondary education.
Prof. Eleni Katsarou contributed with a presentation on “Artificial Intelligence in Education: From Curriculum Analysis to Classroom Practice”, highlighting the intersections of pedagogy and AI.
Rafail Giannadakis, Research Assistant at TALOS–AI4SSH, presented alongside her on “Illuminating Antiquity: AI and VR/AR in Teaching”, focusing on how emerging technologies can enhance engagement with ancient texts and cultural content.
This collaboration underscores TALOS’s commitment to bridging AI, education, and the humanities, fostering dialogue between academic research and teaching practice.
