Abstract

In this video Dr. Silvia Piccini offers a hands-on workshop on the Protégé and OntoLex-Lemon softwares.

On Tuesday 5th November, 2024, a hybrid hands-on workshop led by Dr. Silvia Piccini, senior researcher at Istituto di Linguistica Computazionale “Antonio Zampolli”, Consilio Nationale delle Ricerche (CNR-IT). The title of the workshop is: “Hands-on with Protégé: Modeling Euclid’s’ ”Elements””. This hands-on workshop is focused on the formalizationof domain knowledge by means of the software Protégé, with a special emphasis on modelling the linguistic dimension through the OntoLex-Lemon model. This hands-on session aims to guide the participants through the principles and practical applications of OntoLex-Lemon, a de facto standard in Computational Lexicography to build linked data-based lexicographic resources in accordance with Semantic Web technologies.
