In this video Rechel Milio is presenting her PhD “Attic Oratory and the Semantinc Web” for TALOS-AI4SSH RT1.
Rachel Milio aims to the creation of a digital interface for the study of Attic oratory using Semantic Web technologies. Rachel has a BA from Bucknell University with a double major in Classics and Italian Studies, and an MA from the University of Exeter in Classics and Ancient History. She has also held a position as a Research Associate with the Linked Editing Academic Framework (LEAF) project, focused on the creation of digital editions and pedagogical tools for the digital humanities. Her research interests include women in classical Athens and Athenian law.
