At the Crete Past and Present 2025 summer school, students explored the intersection of Classics and AI in a hands-on workshop led by Dr. Maria Papadopoulou and Rafail Giannadakis (TALOS Lab). Using the Knowledge Graph Editor (KGE), participants modeled ancient tragedies, gaining practical experience in symbolic AI and digital humanities tools.

The TALOS-AI4SSH Lab at the University of Crete is hosting the summer school “TALOS – Artificial Intelligence for the Social and Human Sciences 2025” from September 3–10 in Rethymno. Aimed at Greek students (2nd grade Junior to 2nd grade Senior High), the program explores AI in areas like cultural heritage, language, and education. Participation is free, with priority given to girls. Applications opened May 14.
